There will now be a penalty for illegal entries into the trades or weekly lineup links

The penalty will be a 250k decrease in team salary cap total for each infraction AND that owner cant claim during the following Tues-Thurs waiver period


This will include:

-any response or peoples opinions on trades or lineups
-claiming a player that is on a team already
-claiming more then 1 player/defense in the same forum entry
-claiming a player that was cut between tues 10am and thurs 10am before the following Tues at 10am
-never reclaim a player in your own new entry, use the original claim entry and just respond to that to reclaim, you will be penalized if you make this mistake
-if you claim or reclaim more then 2 total times between a tues-thurs
- we will give a 5 minute grace period on thursday till 1005 that an owner wont be penalized for claiming someone that was claimed during the tues-thurs waiver period

RULE ADJUSTMENT - from now on during tues - turs waiver period if you cut someone and claim someone in the same transaction and that player is reclaimed, you get to keep the player you cut on your team
EXAMPLE:
JD YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN PENALIZED 3 TIMES IN THE LAST 72 HOURS-
ONCE FOR CLAIMING 2 PEOPLE IN SAME ENTRY
ONCE FOR RESPONDING TO KP CLAIM
ONCE FOR CLAIMING T WRIGHT WHO WAS ON MOONS TEAM BEFORE THE TUES-THURS WAIVER PERIOD STARTED

If you accidentally break one of these rules you can self regulate by deleting the post/claim before it is penalized. If the post is immediately deleted before Jeff goes to update, no penalty is given.

The bottom line is (1) learn the claim rules for Tuesday-Thursday rather than just claiming everything in sight and making Jeff rule on whether it is legal, and (2) keep all comments/discussion out of those forums and in the discussion forum.

The hope with this penalty system is it settles this stuff, everyone follows the rules, and nobody ever needs to be penalized.

whether there is going to be a one-time warning system in place - at the beginning of next season so that after seven months or so of inactivity we will not receive an instant strangulation? thx

I feel good about 1 warning at the start of next season if Graham does.

2 claims in the same post is not allowed, but 1 claim in a post, and then a reply to that post in the same thread with a 2nd claim is allowed right?

Or do you need a whole new topic for a 2nd claim?

A reply to ur own post with a claim is fine. In fact it is encouraged that way instead of having to keep clicking on different posts

when you cut New England and claimed Detroit in the same post , is that an example of where you would of been fined ?
